Build a production-ready AI platform that gives hardware companies full visibility and control over their supply chains — predicting disruptions before they happen and automatically orchestrating recovery actions. Core vision: Create an AI-native supply chain intelligence system for electronics and hardware manufacturers that ingests multi-tier supplier data, monitors geopolitical and logistics risk signals, predicts component shortages and lead time changes weeks or months in advance, and automatically triggers mitigation actions like dual-sourcing qualification, inventory buffers, or demand-side adjustments. The system must support the full supply chain management loop: 1. Map the complete multi-tier supply chain 2. Monitor risk signals across suppliers, logistics, and geopolitics 3. Predict disruptions with lead time and probability estimates 4. Generate mitigation options with cost/risk tradeoffs 5. Execute approved mitigations (PO changes, qualification starts, customer notifications) 6. Measure forecast accuracy and improve prediction models Core capabilities: Supply chain mapping: - Import BOMs and automatically map to tier-1 suppliers - Extend mapping to tier-2/3 through supplier disclosure requests - Identify single-source dependencies and geographic concentrations - Map logistics routes and identify chokepoints - Visualize the supply network as an interactive graph - Track approved vendor lists (AVL) and qualification status Risk monitoring and signals: - Monitor factory locations against natural disaster and conflict data - Track port congestion and shipping lane disruptions - Ingest financial health signals for key suppliers - Monitor commodity prices for key materials (copper, rare earths, silicon) - Watch regulatory changes affecting suppliers (export controls, sanctions) - Track competitor demand signals that compress available supply Prediction engine: - Lead time forecasting by component category and supplier - Shortage probability scoring with confidence intervals - Price trend forecasting for constrained components - Inventory coverage analysis against forecast demand - Scenario modeling for specific disruption events - Identify which active programs are most at risk Mitigation management: - Generate ranked mitigation options with cost and time estimates - Track dual-source qualification projects from start to approval - Manage buffer inventory decisions with carrying cost analysis - Coordinate demand-side options (reschedule, redesign, allocate) - Draft supplier communications and escalation notices - Update program schedules based on supply constraints Analytics and reporting: - Executive dashboard with top supply risks by revenue impact - Program-level supply health scorecards - Supplier performance tracking (on-time delivery, quality, communication) - Procurement efficiency metrics (expedite costs, emergency buys) - Forecast accuracy reporting to improve models over time Build a working demo covering: 1.
